The Mechanism

The Q-Technology Mechanism

Posture is an unconscious act produced by the nervous system (Sherrington, 1906; Massion, 1998). Sensory input drives motor output: without coherent incoming information, there is no optimal motor output. This is the core gap that most sport and health specialists do not yet have the tool to address.

Q-Technology is a nervous system information device. It is presented in an insole because it is an easy vehicle to design and wear consistently, and because the foot interface is particularly receptive to frequency-based information. It can also be worn using only its circuits, on a few specific key zones of the body — a positioning that is completely distinct from any comparison to podiatry or orthopedic insoles.
